9/11 Fire Truck on Display at February 11th Car Show
Event Happens: Feb 11, 2012 (04:00 PM - 08:00 PM)
A fire truck that responded to the 9/11 disaster in New York City will be on display from 4-8pm, Saturday, February 11 during the Cruise on Canal Street classic car show on historic Canal Street. FDNY rescue truck #4 is the only truck from 9/11 operating outside New York City. The truck is part of efforts of the non-profit Remembrance Rescue Project, which campaigns for 9/11 education and firefighter remembrance. Sponsored by the East Coast Cruisers, the Cruise on Canal Street classic car show is a family-friendly event that offers food and entertainment in a historic setting.
